ACAE Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
Jan 2005
The ACAE Department celebrated its 10th anniversary
and the moving-in to the new William M.W. Mong Engineering
Building on December 3, 2004. The Department of Automation
and Computer-Aided Engineering (formerly known as the
Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering)
was formally established in 1994. As a consequence of
our departmental expansion, we moved from the Ho Sin
Hang (HSH) Engineering Building to the MMW Building
in 1999 temporarily due to insufficient space in HSH.
After the completion of the Engineering Building Complex
Phase II, which is now formally named William M.W.
Mong Engineering Building, in the summer of 2004,
we finally have a new and permanent home!
