ACAE Professors Y Wang and WH Liao Received US Patent

Based on their research and development efforts at CUHK in the past few years, Professors Michael Y. Wang and Wei-Hsin Liao of ACAE Department were recently awarded a US patent (together with Drs. P. K. Choy and C. K. Liu of ASM Pacific Technology Ltd.):
"High Speed Pick and Place Apparatus," USA Patent No. 6.758.113 B2, July 2004.
Faculty members of our department are committed to work closely with Hong Kong companies to develop advanced automation systems for industrial applications. Working with global technology leaders such as Professors Wang and Liao at ACAE, we are certain that our students will continue to lead the regional automation related engineering development activities in Hong Kong and China.
