The Department of Automation and
Computer-Aided Engineering currently offers two research-oriented
graduate programmes leading to the award of the M.Phil.
and Ph.D. degrees. Applications from both Hong Kong
and overseas will be considered.Financial supports are
available to successful applicants.
A candidate without a Master degree
must first enroll in the M.Phil.Programme
for at least one year before he/she is eligible for
consideration to transfer to the Ph.D.
porgramme. Part-time study is available only in
the Ph.D. programme.
The department may review earlier those applicants who make their applications before January 15, and may give an early interview in addition to the interview(s) held in March of every year. However, the department might have to wait until the application deadline for the academic year is over before sending out the official admission letters.
