The Ph.D. programme has a normative study period
of 36 months for full-time students with a research-oriented
Master's degree and 48 months for students without

is 84 months. A Master's degree holder is required
to complete, with a minimum grade of B-, at least
two graduate courses related to his/her research

the T-courses every term from the time of admission
throughout his/her thesis preparation until the
thesis is finally submitted.
A candidate without a Master's
degree must first enroll in the M.Phil.
programme for at least one year before he/she
is eligible for consideration to be transferred
