Scope of the Symposium
The onset of the 3rd Industrial Revolution will undoubtedly include MEMS and Smart Materials technologies. The IS3M is to provide a forum for researchers in Microsystems and Smart Structures, and other areas that will advance, merge, or utilize these two technologies. The forum will allow experts in these related fields to disseminate the recent advances and their views on the future perspectives of research, and provide direct cross-fertilization in the areas relating to Microsystems and Smart Structures. This symposium will provide researchers in the Pacific Rim regions or countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Singapore, South Korea, and Australia opportunities to exchange results and share their views with counterparts in North America, Japan, and Europe.
