| Scope of the
Symposium |
|
The onset of the 3rd Industrial Revolution will undoubtedly include MEMS
and Smart Materials technologies. The IS3M is to
provide a forum for
researchers in Microsystems and Smart Structures, and other areas that
will advance, merge, or utilize these two technologies. The forum will
allow experts in these related fields to disseminate the recent advances
and their views on the future perspectives of research, and provide
direct cross-fertilization in the areas relating to Microsystems and
Smart Structures. This symposium will provide researchers in the Pacific
Rim regions or countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Singapore,
South Korea, and Australia opportunities to exchange results and share
their views with counterparts in North America, Japan, and Europe.
